Your copy of Deadly Desserts will come with four Gourmayhem cards. We haven't designed any of these characters yet and because it'd be way more fun if you helped us. Vote for your favorite design to decide each Gourmayhem character.
There are four Superfoods, one in each food group: Hangry Pig, Asparaguy, Double Agent Seltzer, and Froyozen The Dragon. Superfood cards can be swapped for Gourmayhem cards to double effects. For the next four days, you'll be able to vote on a new character every day!
We're kicking things off with Hangry Pig! Below, you'll see two new Gourmayhem character concepts and short descriptions. Vote for your favorite Hangry Pig Gourmayhem design here. Deadline ends 11:59pm PST Sunday, April 19.
Note - the silhouettes aren't the actual designs, we'll design the new characters from scratch.
New Pledge Tier - Feud Standoff!

We’re introducing a yummy new Kickstarter pledge tier, called Feud Standoff! It includes all of the rewards from the previous pledges, in addition to three Kickstarter-exclusive, 3 inch tall acrylic standees.
Click here to cast three votes on which characters become standees. The characters with the most votes by Tuesday, March 21st 11:59pm PST will be made into standees.
We’ve updated our Kickstarter page’s pledge rewards section with the new tier. Here is the full Feud Standoff pledge tier:
$50+ backers
For anyone that has already pledged $50 or higher, switch your pledge tier to Feud Standoff (although you'll get a second change to after the campaign). Everyone will be sent a BackerKit survey at the end of the campaign. Your pledge amount will become reward credit. If you pledged $50 then you use the $50 to select the Feud Stand off pledge tier. If you pledged $100, for eggzample, you will have $100 credit and can claim multiple quantities of pledge tiers.
Card Sleeves
We wanted to include card sleeves, but it just wasn’t in the cards. Seriously though, all of the manufacturers we contacted had minimum order quantities of 100k card sleeves and had very long sample production times. We’d rather make sure we can fulfill everything that we’ve already promised than overpromise new things. On the brightside, the new pledge tier price is lower than it would’ve been!

My mom called to congratulate me. Andrew pre-ordered 12 more gallons of vanilla rice milk for his coffee. Jenny's cats took a break from posing for her next masterpiece and high-fived her.
From the absolute trenches of our hearts, thank you all so much for supporting our project! We're supremely excited for you try Deadly Desserts and have some fun with feud! We wanted this game to be a fun family/friend game and hope you enjoy playing it as much we do!
This is a special occasion and bars me from literary judgement for ending three consecutive sentences with exclamation points. I will not be judged!!!
P.S. We're still waiting on our manufacturer to get back to us on the acrylic standees and card sleeves. We've obviously got less than a week and are hoping to have it officially offered within the next few days.

New Pledge Tier
Thanks for the eggstraordinary amount of participation in our new pledge tier survey. The new pledge tier will have 3 acrylic standees and 128 card sleeves (potentially more so you'll have a extras). You will get to vote on which three characters you want most for the acrylic standees. The three with the most votes will, as eggspected, be the acrylic standee characters.
We've been talking with our manufacturer and are currently waiting on production, pricing, and shipping info before officially adding the pledge tier. They're eggspediting their process for us so we're hoping to hear back within the next few days and will update you as soon as possible.
Stretch Goals
What we have in mind aren't eggzactly stretch goals, think of them more as you getting to decide content for the game. We won't have any traditional stretch goals because we've already made this game the best we can make it. As an eggzample, the cards will be printed on 350 gsm matte core paper with a linen finish. If you're not familiar with card stuff, it means the cards will eggceptional.
Once we get funding, we'll post the first content decision. We want you guys to help us choose each Superfood's Gourmayhem design. There are four Superfoods, one in each food group. Superfood cards can be swapped for Gourmayhem cards to double effects. As an eggzample, Hangry Pig is the Superfood of the Meats. You guys are going to vote on whether Hangry Pig's Gourmayhem design will be Hangriest Pig or Shadow Swine.

New Pledge Reward Tier
Since we're getting closer to funding, we're thinking about adding another pledge tier. I'll post an update more focused on this within the next few days and give you guys a chance to let us know what you'd like to see. Additionally, I'll post another future updated focused on stretch goals.
